GWAR POSTER CONTEST

GWAR will be performing live at House of Rock on April 14 and we are looking for a poster to promote the show! Interested in submitting your original work? Read through our rules and regulations below for more information. Be sure to keep an eye on those deadlines!

Official Rules & Regulations

1. For entry, please send your proposed poster for the GWAR show at House of Rock in an 11×17, digital format to asst@texashouseofrock.com. Submissions must be sent no later than Wednesday March 14, 2012.

2. All approved entries will be added to our on-line survey at www.texashouseofrock.com where fans will vote for their favorite GWAR poster. Voting begins Monday March 19, 2012 and ends on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.

3. The poster design which receives the most votes will be printed, distributed, and displayed as the official GWAR poster for the House of Rock show on April 14, 2012. The winning artist also receives two tickets to GWAR and their original poster autographed by GWAR and professionally mounted and framed.

4. All entries must be original artwork.

5. The GWAR show at House of Rock is 18 and up only, unless a minor is accompanied by a parent. This contest is open to all ages. Please be aware that regardless of the age of the winner, the policy will still be enforced.

6. In the event of a tie, an additional day (24 hours) of voting will be added as a tie-breaker to determine the winner. There will only be one winner.

7. Poster design must pertain to the GWAR show at House of Rock. Posters unrelated to this show or venue will be null and void. Poster to include current lineup (GWAR, Kylesa, Ghoul, & Legacy of Disorder), the date of the show (Saturday, April 14 2012), door time (7:00 pm), House of Rock address (511 Starr St. Downtown Corpus Christi), website (www.texashouseofrock.com), Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/houseorock), and phone number (361.882.ROCK [7625]).

8. Posters will be displayed in public areas so they must be in good taste. House of Rock reserves the right to disqualify any poster for any reason.

9. All artists agree to have their name, design, and/or likenesses used for advertising, broadcasting, or merchandising material relating to this event without any compensation or rights to royalties for such use. Artists must provide all materials necessary for their poster submission. The event organizers cannot be held liable…

10. Our goal is to have a fun, safe and fair contest. House of Rock reserves the right to make changes to the rules and regulations of the contest if deemed necessary. House of Rock will have final word in any disputes that should arise concerning the contest.

By submitting an entry to this event, you, as the artist or designer, agrees to the rules laid out in this document and the rules of House of Rock.
